Planning The Moving Timeline
Pattie will help coordinate a timeline based on each individual need. Depending on the workload, and timeframe needed, she will be able to determine the amount of hours or days needed.
What items will not be packed?
Any items above 50 lbs, and larger items such as TV's above 40 inches, furniture, and unique items like large pole lamps, etc., will be wrapped and moved by your mover.
What happens if I need to cancel or change the date?
No charge with a minimum of 48 hours advance notice, if not a $50.00 cancellation fee will apply.
Do you have boxes and/or moving supplies?
You can provide the needed supplies or we can purchase them for you for a small pickup fee. All supplies are purchased through U-Haul, and payment is due on the first day of work (actual receipt will be provided).
What packing services do you offer?
We provide professional packing services for residential and commercial moves. Whether you're moving across town or across the country, we'll carefully pack your belongings using proven packing techniques to help protect your items during transit.
Can you pack only certain rooms?
Absolutely! You don't have to pack your entire home. We can pack as much or as little as you need, whether it's a single room, your kitchen, garage, attic, or your entire home.
How far in advance should I schedule?
We recommend scheduling at least 2–4 weeks before your move whenever possible. However, we understand that moves can happen quickly and will do our best to accommodate last-minute requests based on availability.
Do you unpack at the new location?
Yes. We offer unpacking services to help you settle into your new home. We'll unpack boxes, organize belongings according to your preferences, and remove packing materials when we're finished.
Do you move furniture or drive the moving truck?
Fragile items receive extra care using appropriate packing materials and techniques. Glassware, dishes, artwork, electronics, collectibles, and other delicate belongings are individually wrapped and securely packed to reduce the risk of damage during the move.
How long does packing take?
The time depends on the size of your home and the amount of belongings. During your consultation, we'll provide an estimate based on your specific needs.
How is pricing determined?
Pricing is based on factors such as the size of your home, the number of rooms, the amount of belongings, the services requested, and whether packing supplies are included. We make it simple. We can "guestimate" the number of hours and you can pay hourly, OR if you like a solid number, we can bid by the job, no matter how many hours it takes. We'll provide a clear estimate before any work begins.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash and other electronic payment methods such as PayPal and Venmo. Payment details will be discussed during booking. Hourly rates are requested daily. Flat Fee services will require a 50% deposit. Please retain your completed copy of the contract for your records.
Service Deposit: A service deposit will be due at the time of booking. The deposit amount varies depending on the type of work and supplies needed for the service.
Why should I hire a professional packing service?
Professional packing saves time, reduces stress, helps protect your belongings, and allows you to focus on the many other details involved in your move. Our goal is to make your moving experience easier, more organized, and more efficient.
Do you pack offices and businesses?
Yes. We provide packing services for offices, retail spaces, and small businesses to help minimize downtime during relocations. Please note, nothing over 50 lbs will be packed. Those items will be left for the movers to wrap and load.
Do you offer packing for seniors?
Yes. We proudly assist seniors and their families with downsizing, moving into retirement communities, assisted living, or closer to loved ones. We provide compassionate, patient, and respectful service throughout the process. In this situation, becuase downsizing often requires a decision as to what to keep and what not to keep, an hourly rate is the only way we can price this service.
How do I book your services?
Booking is easy! Contact us by phone, email, or through our website to schedule your free estimate. We'll discuss your needs, answer any questions, and reserve your preferred date.
Should I Tip My Packer's?
Tipping is not required but is greatly appreciated. Our professional movers work very hard to ensure your move is done efficiently and damage-free. They greatly appreciate you recognizing their hard work with gratuity.
